Improve Your Self Esteem
If you are interested in any of the following:
Let us help you at AffirmWare!
Who are you?
A typical response could go along the lines of, why I am John/Jean Smith,
I live in such a such a location, work for the local store, got promoted
to manager recently. I am married, have two children, etc, etc, and so
the story goes.
The above doesn't lead to feelings of high selfsteem. At best you will
experience moments of happiness, to varying degrees.
It is important for healthy self-steem, to understand that you are more
than your labels, more than your possessions, and infinitely more than
what others think of you. You are a unique soul in a unique body, there
never has been nor ever will be any one like you.
If you have a healthy self-steem you will feel good about yourself.
You will lead a happy life, confident that you can handle life's challenges.
If a situation comes along that you can't overcome, you have a go, and
feel good about having tried. You will feel connected to an inner source...
knowing that you can call on it for guidance, when required. You will be
your own best friend. Life will seem more like a wondrous adventure, than
a struggle to be endured.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "WE ARE WHAT WE THINK ABOUT ALL DAY LONG."
This being true, we need to make sure our thinking is supportive and nurturing,
if we are to improve our self esteem.
Wheather you have low self-steem or would like to improve self-steem
see the following. For detailed instruction on using affirmations see the
section entitled "Guide to Affirmations". The "Press Release" section outlines
the Sculptor 12-day program. You may find the following affirmations helpful
when working with Sculptor.

My Declaration of Self-steem ( From Self-steem by Virginia Satir )
I am Me. In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything
that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it --
I own everything about me: my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all
my actions, whether they be to others or myself. I own my fantasies, my
dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures
and mistakes.
Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me.
By so doing, I can love me and be friendly with all my parts. I know there
are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not
know -- but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously
and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and ways to find out more
about me. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever
I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me.
If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought, and felt turn
out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest,
and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel,
think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others,
to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people
and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I
am me, and I am Okay.
