Law of Attraction - Feeling Good

The way you get into the fabulous world of Feel Good requires that you begin to think more about your “Wants” than your “Don’t Wants”. “Wants” and “Don’t Wants” however can be easily mistaken, with the winner more often than not being the “Don’t Want”.

For example: “I don’t want to get sick.”

While you are saying I don’t want to get sick, your focus is on the lack of well-ness. It reeks of what you don’t want, so that’s where your vibration is. And, by the Law of Attraction, that which you give your attention to, must come into your experience, i.e. getting sick.

Or, “I don’t want to drive this old clunker of a car.” Okay, you desire to have a new car, but your are focusing on the old clunker. You are not only vibrating with your “Don’t Want” (to drive your old car), but with that focus you are likely to start attracting all sorts of not so good stuff, that’s not going to be very pleasant.

So… if you focus on how little money you don’t have to buy the new car, then just observe how the two come together. The old clunker breaks down… and you have no money to fix it!

A strong feeling of:

  • “I don’t want to get a parking fine,” is a high five vibrational invitation to a ticket.
  • “I don’t want to blow this interview” is the kind of focus you should avoid if you want to get that great new job.
  • “I don’t want my kids to get hurt” is a clear vibrational invite to an accident.
  • “I don’t want to be ripped off.”
  • “I don’t want to live in this run down apartment.”
  • “I don’t want all these bills.”

Granted, these are things you would like to see different, except your focus on them has included them in your vibration. Put your focus on a “Don’t Want”, and you invite it into your life.

Even sneakier, is when you say “want,” but you vibrating “don’t want,” like:

  • “I want out of this relationship.”
  • “I want a job that pays more money.”
  • “I want the cops out of my hair.”
  • “I want out of debt.”

Where is the focus? In all these, it’s on the don’t want, not on that which you do want.

If you’re having a brief passing “Don’t Want”, that’s not such a big deal. But if you’re giving it some serious emotional focus, it will eventually appear in your life.

SOLUTION… Warm and Fuzzy, is the way to go.

Obviously you can’t go around analyzing all your thoughts to see if they are “Want’s” or “Don’t Want’s”. You would go nuts. And, the good news is you don’t have to. You just need to pay attention to how you are feeling in the moment.

If what your are thinking makes you feel warm and fuzzy, like you are on cloud nine, you’ve got a winner (Green light).

If what your are thinking makes you feel like you are up to your head in it, you’re into a “Don’t Want” (Red Light).

In fact, any feeling other than a warm and fuzzy one, then you have a “Don’t Want” happening.

STOP, refocus, reword, and check your feelings until you have a warm fuzzy feeling.

As an example: Say “I want to be joyful.” Yes, you’re saying “want,” but you’re coming from lack. So as you are thinking that, how are you feeling? Wonderful? (Doubt it!) Joy? (Probably not!)

Okay, now say, “I want the joy I have in this moment in my life to grow into, boundless happiness.” How does that feel? A big improvement, right?

“I want out of debt.” I don’t need to ask you how that makes you feel.

Instead, say:

  • “I intend to use my creative abilities in such a way that will be fun, exciting, and extremely profitable.”
  • “I am going to make time to look into fun, new wealth creating ideas.”
  • “When I am being creative I feel so alive.”

How do they feel? Different from the “I want out of debt”

Don’t be so concerned with the words, you’ll end up going crazy. Just be aware of the feelings you have toward what you are thinking.

Try it out on different phrases. When you find one that goes whoosh… has a wonderfully joyous warm and fuzzy feel to it, you just connected with source.

So, become aware of how the things you say to yourself make you feel, like:

  • “Yeah, I’m sick of listening to that, too.”
  • “I know, it’s all that political power struggle.”
  • “Forget it, I can’t beat him.”

If you aren’t smiling, if it doesn’t give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside, it’s not a positive vibration.

We Have Choice

We can learn to identify a negative vibration from a positive one and take control of our thoughts about the “Wants” and “Don’t Wants”. Or, we can stay stuck in our negative quagmire to fly on auto pilot. Struggle, conflict, illness, and not a lot of good stuff coming our way.

Tuff stuff I know, but there is a simple solution. You have to learn to identify how you are feeling in any given moment… your reaction’s to your “Want’s” and “Don’t Want’s”… you have to take control of what you are focusing on! Then you are in a whole new ball game, you’re no longer a passenger in someone else’s car. You are driving your own car. Outside influences have little effect on you.

Your life is now one of your own choosing.

So if you feel like there’s a dark cloud following you around, remember you’re moving negative energy. Just smile and turn your focus to a better feeling thought. Now you’re popping Green Flags, you are on your way to pulling in some good stuff.

Life is NOW! Fantastic…
